Victoria is a Tier IX Spanish battleship built around main-battery firepower rather than a specialized secondary or brawling gimmick. Her nine 381mm guns combine good accuracy with Burst Fire and a Main Battery Reload Booster, giving her several ways to create high-damage firing windows.
The recommended build focuses on maximizing that firepower and as a balanced build designed to increase Victoria's overall battle impact, rather than specializing entirely in either survivability or a particular gimmick.
Victoria's Burst Fire and Modified Shells give her an additional way to capitalize on vulnerable targets. The alternative firing mode launches two salvos separated by two seconds, creating a useful burst of damage when an enemy is exposed or attempting to escape. The Main Battery Reload Booster provides another opportunity for rapid follow-up fire.
Heavy AP is part of the firepower-oriented build, but Improved Repair Party Readiness is a reasonable alternative if you want a more forgiving setup. This is particularly useful when you expect to take sustained damage and value additional access to Repair Party over maximizing offensive potential.
Spotting Aircraft Modification 1 is the preferred upgrade when available. Victoria already has a long 23.9 km firing range and good accuracy, so the additional Spotter duration gives you more opportunities to exploit that reach. If you do not have the modification, Main Armaments Modification 1 is the straightforward alternative.
In battle, play Victoria primarily as a mid- to long-range gun platform. Her low detectability and strong accuracy allow her to select favorable engagements, while the limited HP pool means you should avoid allowing several enemy ships to focus you simultaneously.
Look for broadside targets and use your normal main battery to maintain pressure. Save Burst Fire or the Reload Booster for situations where the additional salvo can actually change the outcome—such as finishing a damaged ship, punishing a cruiser caught in the open or catching a battleship during a vulnerable turn.
Victoria is therefore best played as a flexible damage-focused battleship. Keep your distance when the enemy is strong, exploit your accurate main battery throughout the battle and use the special firing mechanics to create decisive bursts when targets become vulnerable. Her strength comes from stacking several strong firepower tools together rather than relying on a single gimmick.
