- This is a standard BB tank build, adapted for French battleships, providing great survivability for maximum game impact.
- Unique Upgrade (UU) République is highly recommended as it significantly buffs her reload speed at the manageable cost of longer fire/flood duration. Take Basics of Survivability (BoS) or Damage Control System Modification 2 (DCSM2) if you feel uncomfortable with the longer fire/flood duration.
- Honoré brothers are highly recommended due to their improved skills.
- If you don’t have the Engine Boost modification or if it’s not applicable, use DCSM1.

The French battleship branch is characterized by high operational speed via Engine Boost, quadrupled main battery turrets on mid-to-high tier entries, and rapid reload capabilities. The Tier X République trades the signature quadruple-gun layout for two quad-style/twin 431 mm turrets that achieve exceptionally fast reload cycles, especially when paired with her Unique Upgrade.
