- Engine Boost Modification 1 in Slot 2 is preferred over Hydroacoustic Search Modification 1 because extending Hydroacoustic Search duration increases desynchronization between your smoke screen duration and hydro cooldowns. Meanwhile, Engine Boost Modification 1 enhances mobility and dodging over an extended duration. If you do not have Engine Boost Modification 1, use Engine Room Protection (ERP).
