- The Elbing line consists of long-range Armor-Piercing (AP) gunboat destroyers that excel at punishing broadside cruisers and battleships with exceptional shell ballistics, tight dispersion, and high penetration.
- This build enables German gunboat destroyers to support friendly destroyers during early objective fights while retaining high damage-farming efficiency against larger surface combatants.
- Because the vast majority of damage on this line stems from AP shells, Heavy AP Shells (HAP) is preferred over Main Battery and AA Specialist (BFT), granting a +7.5% AP shell damage bonus compared to a +5.5% main battery reload buff.
- If you are customizing a dedicated commander for Z-31 or Gustav-Julius Maerker, Main Battery and AA Specialist (BFT) is a viable alternative over Advanced Firing Training (AFT / Main Battery and AA Expert). You can assign the leftover skill point to Incoming Fire Alert (IFA) or drop Expert Loader (EL) to pick up Demolition Expert (DE) or Priority Target (PT).
