U.K. Tier VI Gallant / Pan-America Tier VI Juruá - Captain & Module Build
- Build focus: A straightforward Tier VI destroyer setup for Gallant and Juruá, built around a standard Smoke Generator, Engine Boost and a simple, reliable destroyer playstyle.
- Playstyle: Gallant and Juruá are highly maneuverable Tier VI destroyers with low detectability and torpedoes that can be launched individually, making them well suited to conventional scouting, capture-point play and opportunistic torpedo attacks.
- Consumables: Use the standard Smoke Generator and Engine Boost combination. Juruá and Gallant both have these consumables available, while Icarus uses a different setup that includes Short-Burst Smoke Generator and no Engine Boost.
- Captain skills: This is the vanilla build option. If you prefer RPF (Radio Location), trade Fill the Tubes and Consumables Enhancement for the skills required by your preferred RPF setup.
- Upgrade choice: If you do not have the Engine Boost Modification 1 upgrade, use Engine Room Protection (ERP) as the alternative.
- Ship references: Applies to VI Gallant and VI Juruá. The build concept is also comparable to the Icarus playstyle, but Icarus does not have Engine Boost and instead uses its Short-Burst Smoke Generator.
Gallant and Juruá are among the most straightforward destroyers for players who want a conventional smoke-and-boost setup without adding unnecessary complexity. Both ships combine low detectability, high maneuverability and single-launch torpedoes, giving the build a balanced role in scouting, cap contesting and close-range torpedo attacks.
The main distinction from Icarus is the consumable setup. Icarus has a Short-Burst Smoke Generator and no Engine Boost, while Gallant and Juruá use a standard Smoke Generator together with Engine Boost. This makes Gallant and Juruá feel like a more normalized version of the Icarus concept while retaining the familiar Royal Navy destroyer strengths.
