- Fire Prevention (FP) is prioritized over Concealment Expert (CE) early on because mid-tier Japanese battleships have inherently poor concealment that skill points cannot fix.
- If you are building a dedicated Hyūga captain, swap Preventative Maintenance (PM) for Gun Feeder (EL), as Hyūga features strong High Explosive (HE) shells and her main caliber is subpar for Tier VII.
- Isoroku Yamamoto is strongly recommended for this line, primarily for his improved Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Grease the Gears (GtG) skills.
- If you don’t have Spotting Aircraft Modification 1, use Main Armaments Modification 1 (MAM1).
